I recently just edited Jeff Samardzija's article on wikipedia. Under the College years I edited a couple sentences stating "Samardzija had another amazing season in [2006]] with over 1000 yards receiving off of 78 catches. He also had 12 touchdowns and finished his career as the all-time leader in reception yards with 2,593".

Samardzija quit football to pursue a career in the MLB. He signed with the Chicago Cubs and is in Triple A right now. He was extremely good at baseball when he played in college and will excel in the pro's as well.
