A little while ago we talked in class about different types of Advertising on the web. Some of the different types of advertising are text-based, banners, buttons pop-ups, and page sponsorships.
Most individuals see some type of advertising more than others. I usually notice pop-ups and banners more than other types of advertising, but thats just me.

Nick, I definately feel like I notice banner ads and pop-ups more than other forms on online advertiing. To me, they are incredibly annoying and I have never purposely clicked on any of these ads and think that companies should try to focus more on the contect of their ad rather than plotting on how to trick consumers!!
